While we yet bask in summer’s afterglow
Minds a-buzzing, hearts aflame

Alas, winter’s early herald stills our fervour
Sprouting gusts which whoo and threaten…
To bare us of all leaves had we them,
Overcoats which suddenly, now clad all men.
Light and Warmth a fading memory,
Grey the haze that sets the days
Hide we must from exterior chills,
